Wiltshire Council leaders agreed yesterday (Tuesday, June 29) to move to the next stage of the Wiltshire Local Plan.

Local communities and other stakeholders were consulted in a Local Plan Review between January 13 and March 9, particularly proposals for the scale and distribution of housing and employment growth across Wiltshire. It also collected views on the role of the Local Plan in climate change.

The council said it would update the Plan's evidence base to reconsider the scale and distribution of housing and employment growth during the life of the Plan, 2016 to 2036.
