At Thursday's Warminster Area Board meeting, manager Graeme Morrison asked for support from the community to help create a Warminster Community Area COVID-19 recovery plan.
The meeting also awarded community organisations with funding for projects. Successful applicants were:
Warminster Athenaeum - £4,500 to improve their lighting box;
Bishopstrow Village Hall - £1,695 to repair the playing field footpath;
Smallbrook Meadows Volunteer Group - £1,000 to improve disabled access to Smallbrook Meadows;
Longbridge Deverill Parish Council - £1,964 to contribute to the cost of new bus shelters;
Upton Scudamore Parish Council - £600 towards a parish noticeboard;
Warminster Saddle Club - £3,000 towards a WSC quad bike;
Kingdown School - £2,000 to enhance the mental health and counselling service at the school;
Wylye Coyotes - £3,941 towards greenlight building improvements;
Army Welfare Service - £1,220 towards Easter holiday craft packs for children.
