SW Wiltshire MP stops short of backing calls for Boris Johnson's chief adviser to be sacked.
SW Wiltshire MP Dr Andrew Murrison stopped short of backing calls for Prime Minister Boris Johnson's chief adviser to be sacked.
Hundreds of constituents, as well as local Liberal Democrat councillors and parliamentary spokesperson, called on Dr Murrison to support the call for Dominic Cummings to be dismissed.
Local Lib Dems wrote to Dr Murrison urging Conservative Party MPs to "end the distractions" and support calls for scandal-hit Mr Cummings to go, so the country can focus on the coronavirus emergency.

In light of today's announcements from Durham constabulary confirming a breach of law by Cummings, what the public knew all along: Cummings should not have done what he did
and the criticism levelled at the Attorney General, Suella Braverman in her recent defence of the number 10 advisor, for breaking the laws that her Government made.
The distractions appear to be growing, not diminishing.
One wonders whether he still holds this view.
How can Government ask everyone to be involved in test and trace after this breach of trust? There are no excuses left. The Prime Minister must fire Cummings or risk destroying any remaining credibility
