Stuck for jab transport? - call the hub
If you can't get to your COVID-19 vaccination appointment, try your local Link Scheme, or if that's not possible then call the Wiltshire Wellbeing Hub.
The Link Schemes run by voluntary groups have made over 450 journeys helping residents to their vaccinations so far.
If you have no way of getting to a vaccination appointment, the council can provide access to a taxi.
There is of course a bureaucratic process to go through: the Wellbeing Hub team will complete a simple transport vaccination form and submit for action, then the day before the journey, one of the council's co-ordinators will contact you to check some key COVID questions to ensure everyone's safety and that the transport is safe to go ahead as planned.
For information contact the hub via email at wellbeinghub@wiltshire.gov.uk or by calling 0300 003 4576. It's available from 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday, and 10am to 4pm on Saturdays.
