Spiralling Covid19 cases

Globally, as of 4:56pm CET, 28 December 2020, there have been 79,673,754 confirmed cases of COVID-19, including 1,761,381 deaths, reported to WHO.

As of 9am, on 28th December there had been a further 41,385 lab-confirmed cases of coronavirus in the UK. That's the highest tally in one day in the entire pandemic.

U.K. coronavirus death toll has risen by 357 brings #COVID19 deaths to 71,109.

The #covid19 situation in the UK appears to be rapidly worsening, and tonight we're hearing stories of hospitals in the South East running out of Oxygen.
