South West Wilts shaping up to be a Lib Dem/Tory Fight
So, another post about tactical voting.
Many people seem to be relying on the 2017 result as being an indicator of how South West Wiltshire will vote in 2019.
This does not bear out in bang up to date polling date. In 2017 the Lib Dems were polling at 8%, today they are polling again at 20% which is much closer to where they were in 2010, so the 2010 general election is a better indicator, but even that doesn't work because you have vote splitting by the Brexit Party Ltd etc.

Electoral Calculus take the most bang up to date polling data and make predictions based on it, you can look at any constituency and drill into the information: https://www.electoralcalculus.co.uk/newseatlookup.html
It's easy to simplify messages but the fact is in South West Wiltshire over the past year Liberal Democrats have received more actual votes than any of the other parties here including the Tories!
It is now clear from this data that South West Wiltshire is now a Lib Dem / Tory fight, that is why people are recommending you vote for the Lib Dems if you want to vote tactically to stop the Tories here.
