Road Marking Renewal Programme

3 Feb 2020

Your local Lib Dem Focus team can report that when the Council listed the roads that will have their lining renewed, most roads in the Eastcott ward that need this work have been ignored.

This work includes painting double yellow lines to stop inconsiderate parking, and white lines which are important for road safety, which helps car drivers, cyclists and pedestrians.

The roads that are listed for these works are Eastcott Hill and Eastcott Road in the centre of the ward, along with Bath Road and Fleming Way which border the ward.

Your local councillor, Stan Pajak, continues to put the case for other roads to be improved by being repainted, such as the faded zebra crossing in Commercial road, which is a vital pedestrian link from Eastcott into the town center.

The Council is now taking suggestions for its 2020/21 programme, so now is the time to have your views heard. Please contact Stan to let him know of any roads that you think should be included.
