Residents encouraged to give feedback on Wiltshire’s future design
Wiltshire residents are being asked to share their views of the Wiltshire Council website as the council prepares to enhance the customer experience on the site.
People are asked to complete a short online survey on how the website could better meet their needs as part of a more comprehensive customer experience transformation programme.
A key aim of the project is to develop an offer which maximises the opportunity for people to choose digital options when accessing council services if they so wish.
The Cabinet Member for Digital, said: "With many council services now available online, it's important that our website is constantly improved based on user feedback to make it easier for people to get the information and support they need quickly. Our systems should be designed with user experience at the forefront, which is why it's so important that we get feedback. It will help us to ensure the website reflects residents' requirements and works the way they would expect it to.
"We want people to share their thoughts in this survey, so their feedback is right at the heart of development. While the survey is focussed on how we can improve digitally, we will always have more traditional methods for people to get in contact too."
As well as responding to the survey, people are encouraged to make suggestions or raise issues while using the website. People can do this by using the feedback options at the bottom of each webpage.
To take the survey, residents should go to Wiltshire Council Website Review - Resident Survey (office.com)
There is also a separate survey to hear feedback from businesses. Businesses access a variety of online services through the website, and the council is keen to hear about their unique experiences. The business survey is available at https://forms.office.com/r/9WwCbfA0ae
