More funds for Councils in the South West

The government has allocated £500 million of additional support for coronavirus-related spending pressures.

Councils in the South West have received more than £44 million in the third tranche of additional Covid-19 funding. Since the start of the pandemic, councils in the South West have received in excess of £360 million of funding.

Cash-strapped Dorset gets £5,880,718, to total £48,964,396.

On the breadline Wiltshire was awarded £5,277,805 taking it to a total of £42,014,149
