Liberal Democrats win in Trowbridge Lambrok

South West Wiltshire Liberal Democrats are delighted to announce that our unitary council candidate Jo Trigg has won the by-election in Trowbridge Lambrok on Thursday 28th November, gaining the seat from the Conservatives.

Lib Dem 622 (57.8%)
Cons 455 (42.2%)

Turnout 29.53% (up 0.19% on 2017)

Liberal Democrats gain from Conservatives

Jo Trigg will be an excellent councillor & advocate for Trowbridge. Jo said "This last month has been such a huge privilege - to meet so many people and hear their stories, to be part of a very organised team who are constantly working away behind the scenes and to have the opportunity to learn so much in a very short period of time."

Jo starts her Wiltshire Council induction on Monday 2nd December at Trowbrdige County Hall, meeting Wiltshire Liberal Democrat leader Ian Thorn and council officers.
