Candidate Profile: Jo Trigg

Jo Trigg, candidate for Trowbridge Lambrok

Jo says, 'I've lived and worked in Trowbridge most of my life and was Head of Marketing for many years at The Consortium; working with schools, care homes and businesses across the UK and worldwide.

I'm a school governor at both John of Gaunt and Studley Green as well as Chair of Trustees at the charity Trowbridge Future. It's a real privilege to witness the talent and potential of our local community when volunteering in these great organisations.

Since my election as a Wiltshire councillor for Lambrok ward in Nov 2019, I have engaged with hundreds of residents and groups and have learnt a huge amount about the issues that really matter to them: from speeding and poor driver behaviour, to the state of our roads and pavements, the amount of litter and unkempt areas and a passionate wish to see innovative investment into our town centre.

I want to continue to work with the local community to make our town feel safer, cleaner, full of opportunities and activity, and for everyone to feel they can contribute and take part in the decisions that affect their lives. Trowbridge is a great town, let's move forward and make it even better!'

Cllr Jo Trigg
