Enormous new development proposed for Trowbridge

May 20, 2015 12:13 PM

Persimmon Homes and Ashton Park Trowbridge Ltd have put in an outline planning application for a development of 2,500 dwellings, employment (Class B1, B2, and B8); two local centres (Classes A1 - A5, D1, C2, and C3); two primary schools and a secondary school on land south-east of Trowbridge. There would also be an "ecological visitor facility", as well as public open space, landscaping and associated highway works. A more detailed full planning application is included for the Yarnbrook/West Ashton Relief Road and the access junctions.

You can see the details on the WC website here.

Consultation on the proposal lasts until June 26th.
