Unsure how to write to your councillors or your MP? WriteToThem can help

March 5, 2014 9:40 AM

mySociety runs several websites designed to help people get problems solved. One of those is their service for writing to politicians - WriteToThem.com.

WriteToThem makes it very easy to send a message to the people who represent you, whether in the local council or parliament You don't need to know who represents you, either - they give you this information as part of the service.

Unlike lots of the campaigning websites, they don't want you to write to your politicians about particular issues: WriteToThem allows you to correspond with elected representatives about whatever matters to you.

So, if there's something you want to ask a politician, or need to tell them, give WriteToThem a go.

If you're part of a campaigning organisation:

Campaigners often need to encourage their supporters to write to their politicians, and WriteToThem can help with this too.

Today there are some very complex tools that you can use to do this, most of which come with big price tags attached.

WriteToThem is the simple and free option for campaigners who just want to get their supporters writing. See our blog post about how to use WriteToThem if you are a campaigner.
